Damned if You Do; Damned if You Don’t!
Business owners and employers often feel that they are damned if they do, damned if they don’t. I have had a number of clients use that exact phrase, and I have used it myself when speaking with clients. But despair will get you nowhere. Yes, there are occasions where it seems that whatever path you take leads to exposure and liability. But don’t accept a defeatist attitude. This blog is about avoiding the “do’s” and “don’ts” that will expose your company to litigation or other problems. The following entries will give examples of things that you are damned if you do, and things you are damned if you don’t do. Don’t and do do them, respectively, if that makes sense.
This blog is aimed primarily at Massachusetts business people, owners, officers, shareholders, and others who want to protect their business from lawsuits and other problems.
